Magicjack quality is great through a telephone, but my callers complain about the quality/volume/echoing when I use a headset connected straight into computer audio jacks.
I wonder why that is, and is there anything I can do to improve the quality through a headset?
Headset quality is horrible

Some people have the exact opposite problem!!
A buddy of mine recently went abroad and he always uses the phone to call me from his MJ. In this case he used a headset from abroad, and it sounded perfect. No echo no distortions, just perfect
Did you play with the speaker/mic vol setting in MJ and see if that helps?
You said your audio drivers are fine, BUT are they the latest?? Sometimes that can make a difference

Oh, so it sounds like I should be able to get the headset quality to improve to what the handset quality is like?
I thought there was some technical reason why the telephone quality was much better than the headset, but I guess I was wrong. I'll try it on a different computer & see if that makes a difference.
