broken storage problem

Hi All

My MJ works fine on win 7 laptop. But, it shows broken storage error on win xp home sp3 machine. It all started when it tried to upgrade. I have been with the tech chat for countless hours and nothing works. I did whatever they told me right from formatting to running usb scrubbing software.

I just dont know what to do other than formatting my hdd ?
