I am having problems calling my aunt in modesto CA. I used to be able to call her and now every time I call her it is bussy. I call her on my cell and it is not bussy.. Giving false bussy signal.
Anyone else have this problem and are able to fix it?
This happened too me also a while back. I could not call some AT&T landlines. I contacted AT&T but they didn't offer much help. The problem seemed to resolve itself in about a week.
Maybe try contacting magicJack support to see if they have any ideas. It may be a routing issue on their network.
I have contacted magicjack support about 6 months ago... still no fix... I have all the right settings and the routing on the network is good. Spent an hour going through settings with magic jack...
Just frustrating one number can't call and the one I call the most.

MJ is suck. I have called few numbers and after 5 rings, it was fast busy. Good luck for customer support since these people have no clue. They will tell you to run the removal or upgrade the software. Unplug or plug the MJ back in.
It maybe help if everyone keeps go to get help so that MJ knows that they have an issue here.
When you contact the MJ agent, tell them to open a ticket with engineer. The agents are clueless. I have contacted them several times and I tell them I need a status on my trouble ticket with engineer. You are not alone. The more people open the ticket with engineer, the issue maybe fix soon. Don't let the agent troubleshoot you isse.
I am very new to computer stuff but got a magicjack about 15 months ago and been very pleased with almost no problems...until about 2 weeks ago when I got a new cellphone from Assurance Wireless..
It turns out I cannot call the new cellphone from my magicjack..all I get is beep,beep,beep then nothing.
Ive been on the chathelp line with MJ for hours..spoken to several different agents who walked me through all kinds of computer settings and fixes etc...still does not work..
Assurance Wireless says the problem is not on their end..
I'm at my wits end..I really need to be able to call my cellphone from the MJ..I can call MJ from the cellphone..but not the other way around..also the forwarding option does not function with the new cellphone.
Any help would be VERY appreciated.

That is the same problem I am having with the one number only it is AT&T number I can't call from Magic Jack. They can call my Magic Jack.. almost like I am blocked.
