O.K. HOw do you guys copy a microdrive? Do you have to use the IDE/CF adapter and cable? I've got a USB/CF adapter from a 1.8" hardrive, but the computer doesn't see anything there. It sees the 1.8" drive fine, swap it for a 1.0" and nothing in My Computer or Disk Management, on XP.
I've got a USB with the original CE image and when I try to use it when it goes to format the drive it give me an error, drive too big!
Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes I believe everyone (including me) is using a IDE/CF adapter. They are less than $3 deliveredPublic_Domain wrote:O.K. HOw do you guys copy a microdrive? How is your 1.8" drive connected? I would assume it is via IDE?

1.8" drive is via USB cable adapter. I figured the 1" drive would work on it as well, but it doesn't seem to, trying to figure if the problem is my adapter or what. Guess I'll disconnect the IDE adapter from the Thin Client and connect it to the desktop, now I just gotta figure out if I can still power it from the TC or not. Thanks
