Can you double call forwarding to the same phone ???

So far I can not ...

here is the deal ...

I have 2 mj's ...

mj1 call forwards to cell ... (perfect)
mj2 call forwards to my mj1 which (i thought) should call forward to my cell ... but it doesn't ...

it calls and rings mj1 not the cell ...

dang ?

ideas ....................

PS: I do not want mj2 set to forward to the cell ...

maybe this is more like chainlink forwarding ... ???
