I have a DSL modem/router from the phone company on the WAN side of my network. I use the modem with DHCP turned on and with a switch attached to it to route a number of client machines.
In a remote location of the building, I have an RTP300 that feeds off the forementioned switch. I would like to plug a few more client machines into into the LAN ports of the RTP300, but with the RTP300's router active, it puts these machines on a separate subnet from the rest of my network.
What I would like to do is have the routing from the modem pass through the RTP300 so that all devices in the network are on the same subnet. Also it would be nice to be able to access the web interface of the RTP300 from any machine on the network.
So, I assign a static IP and turn off DHCP on the RTP300, but how do I get it to pass the routing from the DSL Router and how do I get to the web interface of the RTP300?
