MagicLineRollover - Conditional Call Forwarding Tool

Post by redpepper »

Image
"MagicLineRollover" - Conditional Call Forwarding Enable/Disable Tool
for Windows XP/Vista/7

SYNOPSIS: AUTOMATICALLY CALL FORWARD REGULAR CALLS & CALL WAITING CALLS THAT ARE NOT ANSWERED WITHIN 20 SECONDS TO AN ALTERNATE PHONE NUMBER YOU SPECIFY.

The "MagicLineRollover" tool creatively allows you to enable/disable the automatic call forwarding of regular calls and call waiting calls that are not answered within 20 seconds to an alternative phone number you specify. Your magicJack must be running and your computer must be on for the automatic call forwarding to work.

One example application would be for a user to automatically forward calls to their mobile phone when they are not at home. Another application would be for a business user to automatically roll over an incoming call to another line in their office if they are unavailable to take the call.

"MagicLineRollover" does NOT need to run in the background and as a result has no memory or resource overheads. The only time you need to run it is in the one instance when you wish to disable (or re-enable) the automatic call forwarding.

Just unplug your magicJack, run the "MagicLineRollover" tool to change the setting and then plug your magicJack USB dongle back in again and you are set.

The "MagicLineRollover" tool is ABSOLUTELY FREE and may be downloaded at http://tools.pcphonesoft.com

The call forwarding you are referring to is unconditional call forwarding. All calls are immediately forwarded.

In contrast, the MagicLineRollover tool gives you conditional call forwarding. It gives you the ability to forward a call to another phone number when you don't answer the phone instead of forwarding the call to voice mail.

The capability was primarily requested by business users that need an automatic line rollover capability and private users that want their calls to automatically forward to their mobile phones when they aren't at home.

I just downloaded and installed the MagicLineRollover tool this afternoon, but it doesn't seem to be working. Despite having enabled it to forward to another number, my MJ voice mail is still picking up the call.

Is this issue a result of the recent MJ update?

The free versions from pcphonesoft.com no longer works after the latest "Lucky You". New versions (apparently not free) are under development.

From pcphonesoft's website:

"FREE "MagicLineRollover" Tool
8/19/2010: MagicLineRollover died and was buried by magicJack's new dialer major upgrade on that same day. May he rest in peace."

It's gone. "Lucky us"
