Is MJ better with a corded phone rather than cordless?

Post by snookoid »

Can you tell me please whether or not MJ works any better with a corded phone? I need to go buy a new phone, and think I'll pick up a MJ at the same time. Thanks.

Some people yes some people the same.
For me it works just as well on my cordless as a corded. IF you do buy a cordless and its is a 2.4mhz model and you use a wireless router you may run into problems with it just dropping calls. However with the new DECT 6 version cordless phones that is not a problem. I have a 5.8 mhz and have no problems at all

Have fun

THAT explains a LOT of things!

The cans are okay but the string broke. Gonna try smoke signals next (until some "green" kook tattles on me).

Thank you Joe! You confirmed my suspicions well. I'm not into phones or talking on phones much and so dislike paying the landline fees out of principle of my low use & certainly don't want to be tied to a cell.

Also using DECT 6.0 cordless phones (Panasonic KX-TG64xx series) with six handsets throughout the house. Sounds great. Never a problem using wireless router.

Can't beat a cordless. I am NOT one to sit ot stand still on the phone. I can only imagine how I would be with a corded phone!!!!! In fact I now have a phoneless cord :) Think about it..

Have fun and enjoy your MJ and cordless freedom..

OMG, the MJ works perfectly on Mac notebook & the clarity of the cordless is actually much better than my old corded phone

We have corded and cordless phones connected and both work well, can't tell any difference.
