If I set 'call forwarding' all calls go right to voice mail
Hello. We have 4 Magic Jacks and we live in Canada. We have friends in the States and have assigned 2 Florida numbers to 2 of our Magic Jacks and then we forward the Magic Jack to our Canada Cell phones. This had been working fine until just a week ago. Now, anytime our friends call the Florida number, they are sent right to Magic Jack voice mail. And shortly after we receive an email from Magic Jack alerting us to the new voice mail. We dont know why this just started happening nor how to fix it. Any ideas? The Magic Jack devices were connected only 1 time to configure them, then they were forwarded, then removed and placed in a drawer. They are no longer powered up or being actively used.

There was a MAJOR update last week which could have affected your setup. You could try logging into your account and re-do the call forward setup. If that fails, sadly, you may have to contact online support and explain what is going on. At some point they are going to ask you to plug in your MJ. If you do that you will be hit with a MAJOR 2.0 update for MJ. Not sure if you want that as it broke a lot of things for many. But you may have no choice.jameshymel wrote:Hello.
