MJ takes the cake on its latest phone number to block!!!
1-800-CALL-FCC
I guess too many people complained to the FCC about all the blocking of phone numbers MJ have blocked. So in order to "fix" their problem, they blocked the FCC from being called. I guess Moe Larry and Curly at MJ forgot they can also be reached and complaied to ONLINE!! DOH.....
Amazing..............

HAHAHAHA I have NO DOUBT!!! Plus they will then make a negative comment to me about suggesting they do a search. Can't win....tsmith wrote:Now that's funny. Now watch, Joe, somebody will post a new message about getting three beeps when he's/she's/it's trying to call the FCC.

Maybe MJ could ask the Obama to start trashing their loyal subscribers so they would stop complaining.... Or sic the SEIU after them. Yeah, that would work.

That is strange. They make money on 1-800 numbers so the more people call FCC, the better for Dan.they blocked the FCC from being called
BTW I hope that FCC recommends to those boys and girls who complain about a $20.-/year service to get a real phone service and pay a real phone bill with all the very real taxes and per line surcharges before they complain again.

I was just letting all those who have had their calls blocked that MJ is now blocking the FCC.. Also unless anything has changed, how in the world would MJ support, top 10% or not, be of any help?? They are useless unless you need your VM reset..
Now if you were joking and what you were saying was all tongue in cheek? Sorry I didn't get it......Right over my head, but hey that is a short trip anyway...

well I want to jump in here and just let everyone know, that MJ is blocking my google voice #. when I try to dial out using my mj phone handset to my google voice # to place a call, I get the famous 3 fast busy signals and then am disconnected. YAY! however, when I use my cellphone to call the gv# to make a call it works just fine. I just had bitstopjoe check it from his phone to verify it and it gave him the same 3 fast busy signals using his mj phone. he suggested for me to try and change my gv# and see if that works.

Or as I said just get a new one.. Try to pick an area code and exchange that MJ hasn't blocked, YET... Here is a link that has a list of MANY blocked numbers and exchanges. Sadly it is 19 pages long, so it may take a TAD to read it.Nugrl wrote:well I want to jump in here and just let everyone know, that MJ is blocking my google voice #. when I try to dial out using my mj phone handset to my google voice # to place a call, I get the famous 3 fast busy signals and then am disconnected. is that link with the blocked #'s updated? because I think I did read thru there at one time and I did not see my exchange in there, at that time.
ok, I glanced thru all those pages, but did not see my exchange in there, unless I missed it somewhere.

It is updated when a user finds a number blocked. So you may want to add the area code and exchange of your GV# there to let others know...Nugrl wrote:is that link with the blocked #'s updated? because I think I did read thru there at one time and I did not see my exchange in there, at that time.
I also seem to remember someone there was making a list of all #'s blocked and was trying to keep it updated..

888-Call FCC works fine from my MJ.
This is the number listed on the FCC's site. See:

This is priceless. There are people over on DSLReports calling 800-CALL-FCC every day, opening up complaints because it's blocked. We should probably open up complaints to other non-existent numbers. Not to make light of MJ blocking numbers, because it's wrong, but I love this.Bill Smith wrote:888-Call FCC works fine from my MJ.

Not really your bad. We assume a certain level of correctness on postings. It's not possible and shouldn't be necessary to double-check every word and line. I called the bogus number when they first posted it.bitstopjoe wrote:Yep my bad............... I didn't verify it for myself brfore posting..
For crying out loud, someone filed a formal complaint to the FCC on blocking the number. I assume that before someone goes that far that a certain amount of fact checking has already taken place.

I'm going to type a letter on my Smith-Corona and mail it to the FCC complaining about the non-existent numbers being blocked. The heck with all this newfangled modern technology.
I think most of us are sometimes guilty of passing judgement before verifying it first. Part of the "information overload" we're mired in these days.

This is why I have not gone to Las Vegas because Obama told me not too.

I hope no one filed a formal complaint with the CRTC before checking, if you have a U.S. MJ number.
