I have the same problem occasionally. I am using too many programs when this happens. If I close down a couple, MJ works fine. I think I am over loading the computer capacity/memory or what ever.

I am not sure. I did not see the soft phone you were telling me, so I turn off everything and started again and it worked.

I just installed MJ. My DSL is connected to computer and is working. MJ is in USB port and phone is connected to MJ.
I get the dial tone, but when I dial ten digit number, with or without "1" nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

I installed MJ. Registered. Received email that account is activated. Plugged the phone to it. Am getting dial tone.

For long distance, I dialed 1 + area code and number, but nothing happens. Tried without dialing 1. Still no results. What am I doing wrong?
