Seeing that no one has answered, I'll try to help but I'm no expert.
Can you call a Canadian number?
Have you tried the Houston number with and without the 1+?

When I renewed by MJ sub. I noticed that the physical address that showed on the page had an incorrect City State and Zip, but the street address was correct. On the softphone pad next to the 911 button the street name and zip are correct.
I couldn't find any way to correct the City State and Zip on ...

Yep, you're right about the software ... I guess someone will have a workaround for that, or the next iPad version will have a usb port.

There's an adapter that would let you connect a phone plug into the usb port. If this can be reversed (to use the phone jack on the iPad) then it might work.
You would need to convert the adapter on both ends: one needs a male to male phone plug and the other would need a usb female on both ends ...

For anyone who wants a small usb phone that works with the MJ, USRobotics makes one for Skype. It's about 4" x 1.5" x 3/4"

You have to go on the website to register and get a phone number assigned. So open up your browser and go to www.magicjack.com

If it doesn't start automatically, don't you get a window popup where one of the choices is "Start Magic Jack" or something like that?

Ah .... didn't realize it was an official "downgrade". I hope they don't mess it up anymore. If the thing works, why "fix" it.

I guess you haven't searched the forum very well.
After the January MJ update your contacts are no longer stored locally on your PC but on MJ's server. That update messed up a lot of peoples pc's.

I thought I was doing something wrong.
If you're right about the change, then it means that I cannot use the address.xml file to easily add the contacts to a relative's MJ. She would have to manually enter them. And also it is no point keeping a copy of it for backup.

I notice that my addressbook.xml file has a date of Jan 4th and I have added 4 or 5 contacts since then - 2 just yesterday. So the recent contacts are not in the addressbook.xml file.
Anyone else notice this?
