Threshold of a Great Idea

Haven't checked in here for some weeks (holiday hyperactivity), just found this.

Must say that I think you're on the threshold of a great idea!

With the new MJ authentication scheme, earlier thoughts were toward waiting for the (shrouded in mystery) hackers to just figure it out and come up with a ...

The New MJproxy! Merry Christmas!

~ Bah, humbug! ~

C'mon, guys, it's Christmas. Haven't you seen Frosty come back to life, as Jimmy Durante narrates, under the right conditions?

As soon as the new scheme is figured out, mjproxy will live again on my router, the ATA will register anew to MJ servers, and all will live ...

...so has anyone tried disassembling the binary? Is there any documentation on how the string is hashed?
Have wondered about this myself. Does the core group of hackers assemble by candlelight on dark and stormy nights to decipher, disassemble and finally break new encryption schemes? Must one ...

Whistlephone and SIPgate Good, even w/o GV, GIZMO5, etc.

Just setup my ATA with new WhistlePhone (WP) credentials, on line 1. (Already had MJ forwarded to SIPgate on line 2.) Thx, OP.

Everything works great. Now once Google buys up WP, may not even have to listen to adds anymore. :D

One thing left to do: Get line 2 to roll over to line 1 for incoming ...

This is a second report of being unable to connect with the 'correct' pwd. At one point however, the password stayed the same for at least a few hours, but I was never able to get it online. (The first being: The key (if any) was finding two consecutive dumps with no change in pwd, but not being ...

Key Finding?

With mjproxy on DD-WRT router and ATA (or softphone for troubleshooting):
+ No problems whatsoever before the forced L.Y. update to 2.0.562d (previous was 1.92.530.5)
+ After update-forced pwd change, all returned to normal for 3-4 days.
+ New authentication scheme then triggered and ATA ...

Retraction: PWs Now Changing Every Time

Have to retract my earlier post in this thread: www.phoneservicesupport.com/post63169.html#63169

When it LuckyYou'd me (to 2.0.562d):
- No problems for first 3-4 days, then changing PWs triggered
- Can not register except by dongle because new PW is issued every time
- User_name has not changed ...

Confirming that the new Lucky You update is not as bad as earlier versions with rotating pwds.

Had mjproxy on DD-WRT w/ ATA running flawlessly for ~2 months. Found it unregistered this AM and could not make it re-connect by any means. Reluctantly plugged in dongle and let it L.Y. me (like ...

Mjproxy for MIPS SoC-based Routers: Ralink 3052, Atheros etc

Have noted requests on this board for a binary of mjproxy (MJMD5) for MIPS chips (by Atheros, Ralink, others?), but can find no reference to an available download. Does such a file exist?

Wireless N routers based on MIPS SoCs are increasingly available CHEAP. Asus RTN13U, D-link DIR-615.D and ...
