Crazy a-- Magic ring!

Do all Magicjacks cause the incoming calls to ring with the weird broken up ring? Is there a way to get it to ring the traditional way with a steady ring on and off every 6 seconds?

So, I installed the extra plugin, Magic Features, to allow me to ONLY get calls from people that I put in my priority calls list. I LOVE IT. The phone ONLY rings if it's someone I want to talk to, and ALL others get hung up on!

This made it necessary for me to rewire the cellular backup I have on ...

Thank you, that is all helpful. I would still like to hear from some more folks that they are using USB 1.1 on the thin client with the powered 2.0 hubs and that the issues are not because of the 1.1 speed limits.

Anyone have some more thoughts?

At least I am elliminating the the problems are due ...

Questions about 9450Xe Thin client - Still Troubleshooting

I was reading the sticky about running Magicjack on a 9450Xe thin client.

I just brought a Belkin powered USB hub today, and that's when I noticed the 9450 apparently has USB 1.1 ports.

Intuitively, it seems to me that especially since this 9450 is dedicated to running only the Magicjack, that USB ...

Been reading and working on voice quality and have questions

When I use the Magicjack it gets choppy on my end every once in a while, and callers say it gets choppy quite often. I left myself a message and listened to it to see what it sounded like, and it does drop out or get choppy. It ranges from sometimes on a call to other calls you cannot be understood ...
