Many thanks

Appreciate the prompt response....have you, (or has anyone out there) had any experience with magic jack reloading itself more than once or twice after a reboot...and, if so, does anyone know a magicfix for this glitch?

Thanks

between the time of my posting and your response, magic jack seems to have calmed down. My phone worked fairly well with MJ until this morning. I am beginning to guess that because I had a software problem yesterday (I had to uninstall and reinstall.....not MJ) and before I knew the cause of ...

Magicjack keeps restarting

Has anyone had the experience of their magicjack restarting over and over...any ideas on a fix?

I read some users take their magicjack out of the USB port overnight....I do not....Is it necessary to do so?

travelling outside the US with Magicjack

We will be out of the country, and I bought magicjack to use with a notebook while we are traveling. Could anyone who has traveled with magicjack tell me if there is any danger in letting the device go through the airport security Xray machines?

plugging my magicjack into an oversas friend's computer ???

With certain (so far acceptable) glitches I am pleased with the magicjack. I am, however, greatly disappointed with the magicjack support.....however this forum more than makes up for Dan's seeming ambivalence with regard to proper customer relations.

Here are the ...

Stuart's fix for the problem dialing some local numbers

Stuart

I am in the 412 area code, and had the same problem you have addressed for others.
I was able to fix it using your solution of *674* 12 followed by the 7 digit number. In my case it was two cell phones of family memebers.

You refer to this as a temporary work around. Does that mean that you ...
