If you have a Phillips CD155 phone set you need to contact tech chat and tell them this. They can fix it on their end.

Did it work on XP before the upgrade to Win7? MAybe the Win7 upgrade enable the Windows firewall. Did you check?

I've only tried http://www.hotspotshield.com. It does work with magicJack, but being free you'll see ads displayed when using your browser. I can't say how it'll work with a 2mb connection. Make sure to set the magicJack to AirCard mode.

Yes, I'm sure. How long has it said "please wait"? Start the magicjack and let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes. Does it continue to say "please wait"?

You may want to investigate one of the free vpn services for the time being.

Using Internet Explorer, go to https://data.magicjack.com/checkCert.html

The page doesn't display anything, but you'll be able to tell if IE does not have the required CA certificate. If not, then the magicjack cannot contact the server used to store the contacts/logs. My guess is Vista didn't ...

Their is a beta of Windows 7 that is out and is available if you know where to look on the net.
If it didn't come from Microsoft, it isn't an official beta. Thus it is pre-beta.

I imagine MagicJack has done little (if any) testing W7 and has surely not added it to their list of "supported ...

I've read stories of how MJ's servers store a copy of a user's profile. They will delete it after 15 minutes of inactivity. Then pick up a fresh copy upon new activity.
