Dropped calls have been remedied!!!! :)

First off I would like to thank everyone for all of the help.

Here's the deal. I noticed in another post on this type of subject az2008 mentioned something about firewalls and DMZ (What the heck is a DMZ?!?!?!?)

So I went to my Linksys basic setup site and disabled the firewall and used the echo ...

I give up! Which router!

I may just give up on my Linksys Wireless-G Cable Gateway model WCG200.

Which regular router works for everyone? Which would you recommend?

I do like Linksys but can go with just about anything. How about Netgear?

I am just plain wore out over this wireless dropping of calls. I do need wireless ...

Latest info:

I turned off the wireless function on my cable modem\router Linksys Wireless-G Cable Gateway model WGC200 while I was connected via the Ethernet cable and it seems to have fixed the problem.

Before when the MJ was tested and failed I left the wireless function active on my gateway ...

Dropped or can't hear incoming or outgoing calls :(

My first post:

http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/dropped-calls-incoming-and-outgoing-t4095.html

Well, I've gone straight thru the modem via ethernet cable. Also thru corded phone. And STILL I get dropped calls or I can't hear the other end. They can hear me but I can't hear them. I don't have ...

I have the Panasonic KX-TG1032S system and it works well. I really like my Panisonic phones as well. I can just dial the number and push talk and it goes through.

Now, we won't talk about the trouble I am having with dropping calls. That is another post.

Update

Well, now, 7:39 into a call while connected to the computer through the Ethernet cable the call screwed up.

The girl could hear me but I couldn't hear her. After about 10 seconds I hung up and called back.

I kind of hope this is due to the new upgrade and they will fix the problem soon. I hate to ...

Installed vb6, tried both with and without hyphens, and quadruple checked my password. Even reinstalled the app.

Went to the MJ site and made sure that CF worked through there. It did.

Just my luck. :? :( Still won't work.

Any ideas? I would really like to be able to use this cool program.

Yep, happens at all times of the day. My wireless connection always indicates excellent signal strength and I don't seem to be having any other wireless connection problems.

I have been looking on eBay and other places for an inexpensive used laptop to put with the modem/router to connect just the ...

I thought you said earlier that the problem didn't happen when connected to the router with a wire. Is it happening even with a wire?
It doesn't happen when connected to my PC via ethernet cable. Just when I am wireless.

I don't know what I am doing wrong but this isn't working for me. :?

I enter my MJ number on the first line.
I enter my MJ password on the second line.
I enter the number I want to forward to on the third line.
I press "enable".
An hourglass appears for a few seconds.

I try it out and my MJ phone ...

I do have a cordless phone. It is a DECT 6.0 that is not supposed to interfere with the 2.4ghz wireless connection. That is not to say one of my neighbors isn't using an older model cordless. Though this occurs at all times everytime I use the MJ.

I have tried with my corded phone as well. Same ...

Dropped calls, incoming and outgoing

I have had the Majicjack for over 6 great months. I usually highly recommend it.

Here’s my problem. Since installing a Linksys WCG200 Wireless-G Cable Gateway Version 2.0 and a Linksys WMP54G V.4 PCI adapter when wireless all of my calls, whether incoming or outgoing, are dropped after anywhere ...
