MJ didn't work. This is how I fixed it

I am not a tech support person. I just figured this stuff out almost by mistake. My first issue was my phone not ringing. I tried everything including Tech support to no avail.

I finally ended up getting a Southwestern freedom phone and it rings fine now with no problems.
Then I had a problem where I kept getting error messages saying you must connect your MJ before installation can begin.
It was connected, I tried switching USB ports and tech support (No luck again)
I darn near gave up and was ready to send the thing back until I started it without the phone line attached to the other side by mistake.
It started right up with no problems and was good to go as soon as everything loaded and I put the phone line back in afterwards.
I have since had the same error message a few times and starting it without the phone-line attached fixes it every time.
Now I have grown to love my MJ.
