I have an asterisk pbx system already setup.
Is the Asterisk PBX working? If yes, did you Patch your Asterisk Server with the MJproxy?
There are a few individuals that have stated that they were able to make and receive calls via an ATA without having MJproxy running on a computer or Router. Looking at your screen shots I would make a few changes to see if it would register and make/receive calls:
a) RTP Packet Size from 0.030 to 0.020 (SIP Page)
b) Change "proxy1.Chicago.talk4free.com" to "proxy01.Chicago.talk4free.com" (Line 1)
c) Use Auth ID:
no and leave Auth ID: Blank (Line 1)
d) Change "Registry Expires" to 180 and Proxy Fallback Intvl: 300 (Line 1)
e) Under NAT Settings, "NAT Mapping Enable: Yes", "NAT Keep Alive Enable: Yes"; "NAT Keep Alive Msg:
0000", NAT Keep Alive Dest: $PROXY" (Line). I could not get this to register without "0000"!!!!!
f) I did not realize that their is a new "Sip User Agent String"? I was still using the "MagicJack/1.90.521b (SJ Labs)" as oppose to "MagicJack/1.90.529a (SJ Labs)".
I don't think this string is important, since I have left these two settings as default (& Blank) and the ATA Method works without this string!
g) Under Provisioning Tab, "Provision Enable:
no"
It should at least register. You might not be able to make or receive calls without the MJproxy running somewhere on your LAN. I can Register to the MJ Server without MJproxy, receive incoming calls, but I unable to make outgoing calls!
