You might try www.voiceshot.com It isn't free but extremely efficient. I have no connection to them other than having used them in the past.

Gots2go, have you looked into changing your MJ's proxy server?
I am looking into that now. Thanks for the idea.

My base is about 8-10 ft from the computer. I had 5.8 and switched to 6.0 Dect within the last 2 months. What is interesting is that I could call out with no apparent issues, yet when I would get a call from a cell phone that's when I got the problems. So now I'll see how long this works for me.

Okay so I changed the usb port (powered usb hub) of my MJ and until I did so, I received unrecognizable voice mails from my test calls. Now all seems well. I am finding though that I am having to do this more frequently than I would like to.

I am noticing this same issue. In fact, the last occurrence was someone called me and left a message on MJ and I couldn't even understand it.
This is happening very frequently for me. So I changed USB ports and rebooted. We'll see how that works.

I signed up for the 5 yr plan. I figured that my exposure is the $59.95 which is about the same as one month's service with AT&T land line.

One thing people my forget when comparing MJ to 'other' potential competitors is that MJ has its own network aka YMAX. Few competitors will be able to compete ...

Lisa, this is not to flame but merely to question and to raise an issue.

Since you are using GV, I am sure you realize that GV is within its rights per the TOS, to monitor all of your communications used with said service. I mention this because it seems a little odd to me that while caps are ...

I too can testify to the 2 hour limit. This has happened to me a couple of times with the same person! What can I say... long distance relationships!

Separately, I remember when I had TMobile and they inflicted time limits too. At that time the limit was 90 minutes. In fact, I think Sprint does the ...

I know there are two types of wireless jacks available, one that supports CID and one that doesn't. If it isn't explicitly stated on the packaging, then it is fair to assume that the jack will not support CID. I think I had a RCA product when I used one several years ago. I guess I will have to give ...

Does anybody have any experience with using MJ on a wireless phone jack? If so, does it work well or not? I need a solution for my HD DVR.

Hmm... not to flame but the one 'bad' review it received on the Radio Shack site seemed to be a very specialized case where the size of the adapter made a difference. Maybe it's me?

I offer this opinion as I too am looking for a splitter and this RS splitter seems to be the solution to my needs ...

CID fix and voicemail indicator

So after 6 months with MJ I decided to try the CID fix. It works very well showing the calling number. Thanks to all that are responsible for the fix, especially GT for the succinct instructions.

However, there is a side effect that is annoying at best. Whenever I receive a call that goes ...

I have the same choppy incoming sound as OP and have noticed that when I remove the extension USB from MJ the choppiness is minimized. It doesn't go away, just minimized. This is becoming a PITA. Anybody find a real solution? My outgoing sound is great, it is just the incoming that is nerve racking ...
