What are some of the phone models that enable setting the microphone volume via the phone itself?

On my cordless phone, others still can't hear me that well. On a corded phone, I've had better success.

Mine died, then revived...

Think I got it solved for now...

I used the following process successfully:
- restarted WinXP
- manually backed up all 'C:\<user>\AppFiles\mjusb' files
- deleted mJ/YMax registry keys
- unplugged all other USB devices
- restarted WinXP
- plugged mJ into powered USB hub
- ran ...

Uniden EXA1978i 900MHz works well... when mJ cooperates!

Got the 900MHz (ebay $2 + $4.50 s/h) to address interference issues with my 2.4GHz WiFi link. It rings, it dials and correctly displays caller ID. I also have a Vtech 918-ADX 900MHz on another duplex adapter w/an old Radio Shack caller ID ...

@kayatanon - Thanks for the procedure to reset mJ reg entries. I'm not terribly brave at changing/deleting registry entries (though I'm never scared to look). Very useful info!

That procedure -did- change behavior of my crappy-Jack. Now I get the following ...
