This is not Abu Dhabi. But I haven't had any problems with my magicjack that I send to my family back in El Salvador I have had the magicjack out there for 3 years and I haven't had any issues so far. I really don't think you will have a problem....

I hope you get and answer to your problem. I have Panasonic phones cordless and I don't have any issues. I have Verizon FIOS the magicJack with HP thin client. No issues here.

I have had my magicJack running on Hp Thin Client for a little over 3 years now and I haven't had any problems at all I am happy with my magicJack can't beat $19.95 a year.......

I got a HP Thin Client for $45 with 8GB of space not that 256. I got a good deal 3 years ago. Sadly the seller I purchase from doesn't sale thin client's anymore....

That sucks that you have a lot of friends n relatives that happen to live in a area code magicjack doesn't work with. I hope you find someway around that problem either with Google Voice or trying another VOIP. I know they have this area code in Alaska that they don't accept calls from magicjack but ...

u should return it right away I purchase a magicjack also that was defected and I return it to walmart no questions ask....... Those are the advantages of purchasing from walmart instead of magicjack own site. The return process is a breeze

I also had this problem but only when someone else is using the internet at the same time I was making a call on the magicJack but back then I had Verizon DSL 768k speed. Now that I have Verizon FIOS it works better no crackling calls at all.

Check that make sure no one else is using the internet ...

3 years running magicJack on thin client never have had any issues whatsoever! I can't see myself paying for Vonage service. I like only paying those $19.95 a year......

My local Wal-Mart also has the magicJack Plus for $65.99. I rather buy it at a store than from magicJack site some people have reported bad service when they deal directly with magicJack. Plus at Wal-Mart if you don't like it you can return it and they give you your money back no questions ask.......

I remember first hearing of MJ awhile ago and apparently concerns over spyware being a major issue which steered me away for awhile. With MJ+ this obviously shouldn't be an issue if it's not on the PC, but some features are lost running it that way.
