For those wanting an alternative to using MJ with the dongle for now and don't have an sipsorcery account I would recommend sipgate as a paid alternative and whistlephone as a free alternative. Using SPA2102 - Cannot hear other party
I hope I am not asking a question that has already been answered a bunch of times. I did a search, but I guess my keywords are not good enough.

SIP info is SIP info it does not matter what device you use it in. It all depends how you use it in that device. You are also aware I hope that it requires more then just the SIP info you will need to have a proxy running or a modified chan.sip file for this to work. It more likely that your ATA is ...

I am a bit confused about this.
I have the SIP info for my personal MJ. It works perfectly with my SPA2102. I am not using anything other than the SPA. No mjproxy in my router, or any other software running.

Backup and Restore SPA2102?
I am just wondering if there is a way to backup and restore the configuration of an SPA2102?
With my router I simply go to the backup tab and save the .bin file. If I need to restore the .bin, it is just as easy as going to the same area and doing the restore.

I read your posts and I think the reason why you couldnt install mjproxy due to your DD-WRT voip version installed, this version is too big to leave room for JFFS. Just reflash your 160N with DD-WRT mini version so you have more room to enable JFFS, then you should be fine.

How about today? Any outbound calls today? Just for giggles, would you mind changing your proxy to Miami? I wonder if there is something going on with the proxy.sabresfan wrote:I'm running fine with my pap2. I have made and received a few calls in the last couple of days without any problems.
