Tried to call out with the reciever after getting dial tone with my handset.
The reciever actually made a connection and i could hear it calling out,
sounded like a fax machine, but then came back with the call failure
message.
Oh well, just have to order movies online.
There has got to be a way ...

Every time i try to order a movie with the reciever, keeps saying there is
no dial tone.
using the same phone line with my cordless, so there is a dial tone.
Caller Id also comes up on the reciever, so i know there is a phone

I am running MJ on a thin client, HP 5700 that i bought off Ebay.
Hoping this would help my audio issues. I still am getting echo
and sometimes the audio i receive is scratchy and breaks up.

This 100K resistor worked great for me. Thanks for the info, saved me
lots of trouble. I was getting prepared to rewire the phone cables in the house.
