Hey all,
My MJ+ decided to stop working a few days ago and can not seem to get it to work.
I have always had it plugged into a surge protector with everything else... never any problems for the past 10 months (1year expiration is March 3rd).
I unplug it for a while, plug it back in, nothing... i ...

Yeah I seen this app and plan on using it for my house later on when this MJ+ expires... but for my business I need 2 lines, one voice line and one Fax line... and I've heard that only like 5% of MJ users are able to receive faxes... while this Obi202 device does 2 lines and apparently accepts faxes ...

Difference between the MJ and the OBi202?
Been using MJ for 2.5 years, over the last 1/2 year been using the MJ+
For some reason there is static on the line, calls getting dropped... this and that.

Figured it out. Found this website:
http://portforward.com
Go there and enter your router then Magicjack app and it will show you exactly how to do it.
Because I have a Trendnet TEW-652BRP I did not use Port Forwarding (aka Special AP in this router) I had to use a Virtual Server with the IP MJ has ...

MJ+ not receiving INCOMING calls
Hey all,
Just setup the MJ+ to my existing account this afternoon (as my regular MJ expired at 10:15 this morning).
It's setup and works perfectly on the PC, but when plugged into an outlet and into the router, I can PLACE calls, but NOT Recieve them. It says the # is not in service at this time.

I bought my original MJ a year ago at Walmart so that if there were any issues with the hardware, it would be a simple return...

You can install and use the Free version of this:
http://www.4t-niagara.com/tray.html
That way it stays in the tray all the time and no annoying dialer.
