It's a very well known problem to them, There currently Upgrading there servers. I have seen it myself and heard it on my MJ also. There working on it. :)

What 000-* means is MJ can't connect to it's server.

We all see the 000-* everytime before our MJ connects at startup.

For the Upstream you need 256k your only at 128k, All you have to do is on the MJ panel switch it to Aircard(3G) instead of Normal(High-Speed).

In "Services" put "QWAVE" to Automatic (Delayed Start) then restart the computer.

FYI: QWAVE= "Quality Windows Audio Video Experience", QoS is by default already active, This links directly to the above "Service"

I've noticed maybe a possible improvement. :)

You need to reflash the device for use in win7, Then after that your gonna have ALOT more trouble(lets hope you dont though). But !

Let's do what ya need to do first, Reflash the MJ devices "flash" memory with this file.

Since that computer is so old 5yrs, That problem is a overheating issue, Sounds to me like your cpu fan inside the computer has failed or the CPU has failed. The motherboard is designed to turn itself off if something has reached its max threshold.

Yeah kinda weird, Can someone else test this ? talk to someone while on the phone then stick a DVD in start to burn it etc. then BLAM ! MJ kills itself, kind of a nasty bug in a different way. lol :lol:

It has been fairly well established that MJ doesn't play well with many DVD burner programs ...

Why do SOME people have choppy sound while others don't? Why do some drop connection while other don't? LOTS of things happen to some MJ users and not to others.

When I call a land line with MJ it does not list my name...or number. But when calling a mobile it does list the number.

Could you step me through putting my name on the calling list as you suggest.

MJ hasnt made incoming CallerID available yet (aka:number pops up no name), But if you call with MJ it does show on the other parties caller id as "your name".

But if you put a name to the number in your calling list it will show up as the name. Kind of a manual incoming caller id system, heh :)

In CP/System/ Advanced put the pagefile to "MIN/MAX" 2048 on C:\, Then hit SET, Then it will have you restart. Hopefully u can get by by using a swap file istead of actual memory, But 256 is kinda on the low side. Also that memory is seriously old not worth much at all, I wouldnt be suprised if ...

When you restart your computer right after the mouse light turns on, hit the "DEL" key to enter BIOS setup.

Once all loaded back up, See if you can insert MJ and try to Re-format "PHONE"

In Win7 there is a special service that helps internet VOIP and audio stuff sorta speak. By default Win7 its disabled.

Services/Quality Windows Audio Video Experience = Auto Delay Start

Restart computer then it will enable itself in services :)
