MJ has several (not sure how many, but a large amount ...

see if you can try it from someone else's internet connection, preferrably a different ISP. If at all possible, use the same computer you are using now (to reduce the chance that the computer is the problem).
I've heard through my corporate connections with some of good sized ISP's (and this is not ...

I'm gonna try to help with this question in two parts:
userdomain: The userdomain is part of the 401 authentication scheme. It's normally used to authenticate a web-browsing user against a specific server or forrest. In MJ's case, I've authenticated with out (I can't see why they would need to use ...

They change the password, guys with ATA's
People using the ATA hacks:
Most everyone may know this, but I found it out the hard way.
If you are using an ATA, and haven't used your MJ in a while:
If you use your MJ after rebooting your computer (maybe) or on a new computer (definately), when MJ gets a new provisioning file, YOUR SIP PASSWORD ...

magicJack will not help you, I'm afraid, as I doubt the MJ line would support the modulation requirement of a TTY/TTD systems. If you're looking to do video relay, it would be wise to consider something besides MJ. If you're using a Video over phone option, the MJ line will still not support the ...

ok, one final thing:
When I dial my own number to access voicemail, the auto-attendant prompt doesn't sound like it did before, it says "the person at extension XXX-XXX-XXXX-XX is not available" (same message you get when you call someone who's MJ is not online, and I can't press the * key, (I know ...

it's not acutally all that complicated (once you get your router "unlocked" if it's locked).
The hard part is getting your MJ SIP password.
I spent about a day on this originally, to find out that it was impossible to get from the MJ provisioning file, as well as sniffing the SIP traffic. But there ...

Thanks guys, I'll have to post it later tonight, I VPN'd into my home router from work to get those screenshots, but I'll have to run wireshark on my home pc (which VNC'ing to it won't work well for this situation).

radioman52,
I was able to configure my RT31P2 (similar to WRTP54G in unlocking & config) with MJ, but I can't get it to ring on inbound calls. I've posted my configuration here: http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/post12639.html#12639 (images attached to my post)

Hello all,
I guess I could be considered a "newbie" at magicJack and using an ATA. Have used Vonage for years, but I couldn't pass up the MJ pricing.
I've been researching this forum for a while, and it has helped me with discovering my SIP credentials (which I will not post, from what I've seen MJ ...
