[quote="ret27m"] cougar11211 are you using a wireless LAN card or are you hard wired? I was wireless and had similar problems, I hard wired and have had zero problems ever since, MJ Rocks.

I have a wireless card installed but using a wired connection. Pretty sure I have even disabled the wireless ...

Works fine for me in Vista, but I do have one main complaint. Not sure if this is exclusive to Vista but the MJ unit not turning back on after PC comes out of sleep is annoying.

Scott you using Vista? There was no real solution I found for this problem, in fact, from what I did read, MS does not want to implement a USB reset after a PC comes out of sleep.

Pulling the unit from the USB and plugging back in worked for me, but for a softer solution so I wasn't wearing out my ...

And since I posted 2 issues, I wanted to note the caller ID problem is now fixed via the 100k ohm resistor trick!

There is a simpler method that worked for me. Just clip a phone cable apart anywhere that will give you enough room to strip the ends and just rewire the red and green wire back ...

Recap on the last post. I forgot to mention I did add to the registry the 'ForceHCResetOnResume' and it didn't seem to work, but it MIGHT have something to do with the safely remove hardware trick if that doesn't work for someone else. I am curious to hear of someone else trying it.

OMGosh it worked, I was surprised. All I ended up doing was clip a phone cable apart then rewire them back together but including the 100k ohm jumper. No soldering even required. Thanks for this information!

I am moving a bit forward on the sleep mode issue. I have found that by double clicking on the 'safely remove hardware' icon, selecting the MJ device (H on my system), select properties, then exit out in a few seconds it resets the USB device making the phone functional.

So obviously the USB port ...

Kumar, thanks for commenting, but I am aware the MJ will not be available when the PC is sleeping, which I am perfectly fine with. The problem I posted was when returning from sleep mode, the MJ dongle does not wake up. When I call the phone, it comes up on the computer fine, but not through the ...

Sleep mode kills phone in Vista

Running MJ on Vista. When the computer is slept (while I sleep) and brought back up the phone is no longer reachable, nor dials out. Pulling the unit from the USB and reinserting it will fix it, but as a daily ritual doesn't fly. Wondering if anyone else have this issue and if there is a possible ...

Under power options in the control panel.
Thanks, but leaving the PC on 24/7 is not an option.

Spying

I can understand your support for the product, but i'm blown away by how many people think a cheap cost is worth your privacy. All the 'meh's and 'Who care's'. Privacy issues only continue to grow because not enough are bothered by what they know is going on now. Phone companies should not be ...
