This is the number 1 thing I don't like about Magic Jack - it does not do true 3 way calling.

Most 3 way calling that I do involves talking to one person by phone and then wanting to connect to a 3rd. That is 3 way calling.

I might be even willing to have 2 Magic Jacks for 3 way calling.

I use 3 way calling almost every day. Magic Jack's lack of 3 way calling is the major reason I don't use it more.

Seems like someone would come up with a way, maybe with two MJs?

The conference service was setup because some services do not allow MJ to dial in (not MJ's fault).

Thank you for the reply. I wasn't sure how to do it, but I was aware that 2 people can call me. Perhaps useful in some cases, but not the normal need.

Same issue here. Not used MJ for a while (hate the mandatory window). On the screen that says:

Your magicJack has already been registered

There are 3 main issues that keep MJ from being fantastic and you have hit on one of them. Here they are, not in any particular order:

(1) Hard to record calls - nothing built in

Ru8de to not have an uninstaller, but then it is also rude to require the MJ picture to cover everything else while it is loading.

Definitely good to avoid permanent cc on file. I use Paypal whenever possible and then sometimes prepaid if required.

If cc # file is not a concern, then maybe just write blank checks.

That is good to have more than 4 digit passwords. Let's see - how do we change passwords? I think when we called our number there was an option.

When I first started, I put in lots of digits and only 4 were selected for the password. I did not know which digits were used - tech support got me going.

I understand that the callto link is desirable for some, however, for me and most people that I know the Skype automatic change the browser default is one thing we all hate about Skype. Love Skype - hate the change our browsers without asking. If MJ does this, hope it is not a default change.

It sure would be a nice change if MJ did not take up the screen for a minute every time we startup. Even a minute once a day x 365 days is over 6 hours of time per year spent watching the always on top MJ picture. Why not startup in the background like everyone else?
