Well i get a lot of e-mails on the subject of not being able to find the password in the dump file. Well there is a new tool out over at magicjackhacks.com its the top news story right now. But this program uses pmdump and takes about 5 min but in the end it will spit out your password via command ...

I just recently set up a friend's new computer. It's running Vista x64. Wow it's fast (8GBs of RAM too) but when I went to load my standard set of favorite software, most of them gave me an error stating they don't like x64. So I'm guessing MJ isn't going to like x64 either.

Personally I think there's a better chance MJ will survive compared to ooma. To a lot of people, it's easier to swallow spending $40 initially and $20/yr after that then to plucked over $200.

Ok so yesterday I tried a couple different servers - nothing worked.
Outgoing just fine, incoming still straight to voicemail.
Today suddenly there about 12 blank voicemails so I delete those. and reset my MJ.

Didn't have a chance to test incoming yet as I had other work to do.

If you have an old 900mhz, try that as they get least interference from most home wireless routers. Of course you can't wander as far. I have the Panasonic DECT and can wander about 1/2 block before it starts having problems. Great for walking ...

Every once in a while, if I haven't made or received a call for a while - before making the call I want to make, I dial my cell phone first and once it connects - hang up. Seems the first phone call sometimes is a little messed up - but after that it works like a champ.

Just had to unplug MJ, reboot, reinstall the hardware, reboot again and then plug in the mj.
